Cookie Cutter Theatre aims to not just deliver relevant messages, but to awaken questions. To spark thought, action, and meaningful discomfort through a Western lens of entertainment reimagined, breaking out of the cookie cutter mold.
Our Story
Founding members Meghan Ripchik, Lauren Josephs, and Connor Tyler Gray met doing a production of Bat Boy: The Musical in 2024 in which Gray and Josephs starred in and Ripchik directed and choreographed. Ever since, they have worked on multiple projects together, expanding the concept of what theatre can be. With a shared passion for unique storytelling through live performance and the meaningful impact it can have, they created Cookie Cutter Theatre Co. With this passion, they strive to find new and creative ways to enhance theatre in Los Angeles, and engage new crowds through theatrical experiences that L.A. audiences crave.
